In my senior leadership role as the Director of Facilities, I managed a staff of 13 for the Engineering and EVS departments. I served as the chairman of the Environment of Care (EOC) and Safety Committee. I was a member of the Infection Control and Performance Improvement Committees. I served as the acting Safety Officer and Security Officer. Starting at Cascade my duties were to conclude the CMS and DOH surveys and manage the completion of the conversion into a Behavioral EOC. In addition, I began preparing for the upcoming Joint Commission survey. While I was director the conversion to a Behavioral EOC, CMS, DOH, Joint Commission, State and Local Fire Marshall surveys were completed successfully.

I managed the following departments; EVS (Housekeeping), Central Supply, Plant Operations, Kitchen and Security. I maintained the hospital accreditation documentation for EOC and chaired EOC. I served as the Safety Officer. Member of NCTTRAC and ASHE. I received a Ham operator’s license and completed FEMA classes.
