The company services over 70 transfer stations that range in size from around 100 tons per day to over 2,000 tons per day. We utilize a large fleet of independent contracted carriers and company owned trucks to haul the waste in Stella's fleet of tipper trailers (unloaded by our hydraulic trailer tippers located at the destination landfills) and self-unloading (walking floor) trailers. For its loading services, Stella has a large fleet of yellow iron that includes wheel loaders, excavators and skid steers. Stella also transports recyclables, various types of non-hazardous waste, leachate and other various materials to processing and disposal facilities. The company is focused on growing both organically and acquisitively primarily across the southern United States.
