Responsible for developing and repurposing America's Test Kitchen content for twenty annual special-interest cooking publications.

Key achievements include creating a vibrant, award-winning SIP publishing program of 8 garden-related titles, and developing and managing key advertising and marketing partnerships with the aim of increasing magazine sales and exposure. Involved in developing the framework for version 2.0 of magazine website.

As editor, I led a team of 12 in the creation and production of content for the magazine and the website. Initiated and managed a redesign/facelift of the magazine with the aim of keeping it vital and competitive in a challenging marketplace. Magazine was named to the Chicago Tribune's annual list of Top 50 Magazines in 2005 and 2007.

As a staff editor of magazine, I traveled the country to find authors and to photograph the gardens we chose to include in the magazine. I sought out the best authors in the industry who hadn't written for the magazine. I handled as caseload of about 15 to 20 articles and 12 departments a year and was promoted three times in a four year period.
