Working internationally with more than 50 participating countries, SC 9 standardizes commonly used identifiers, such as ISBN, ISSN, ISMN, DOI, ISNI, and thesauri standards. I served as Committee Manager of SC9 from 2007 to 2023 and in 2024 assumed the role of Chair. As Chair, I coordinate the work of the committee and interact with ISO Central Secretariat and the ISO TC 46 - Information and Documentation on various management issues.
