Responsible for providing Cybersecurity training and consulting to financial companies. Inventory Management: I was responsible for server and OS inventory creation, reconciliation and maintenance Documentation and Training: I was responsible for developing and maintaining technical and training documentation. I was tasked with developing technical documentation that was to be used by field and server support staff. In addition, I was also responsible for providing training to our India staff on our existing daily processes and procedures.Project Management: I worked on the migration effort to convert our NetWare servers to Microsoft Server 2008. I was responsible for all aspects of server migrations including creation of local groups, configuration of global groups, and security rights management on the accounts and data. I wasresponsible for the data synchronization between the old and new environments, all scripting changes, testing, and the actual data move and testing. Data Remediation: I was responsible for identifying and remediation of data storage issues on all Novellvolumes to prevent outages. I worked closely with the legal department to capture and retain data that was needed in court proceedings, or to protect the corporation from legal actions.Support: I provided third level escalation support for all server, Directory, and User account issues on both the Novell Environment and the Microsoft environments globally. I was responsible for correcting issues, or identifying and working with the correct team to resolve the issues. Ourteam had the highest closure rate and we took on all issues other teams were unable to figure out or resolve. Our daily close rate exceeded 95%, with over 3,000 issues resolved every month.

I worked as a consultant for JPMorgan Chase for one year prior to being hired on as a full-time employee. I performed all the tasks listed above. At the end of the year long probationary period, I was offered and accepted a full-time position with JPMorgan Chase.

Network Design: I was responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of a network corefor a 144+ site network in under 60 days for the states largest school district. This network involved three data centers and 144 separate schools. We rebuilt a server at each site, as well as re-imaged over 25,000 workstations.Project Management: I was responsible for managing and running the migration effort of migrating to core sites and had to be robust enough to support over 20,000 users and their data needs. Imaging, Distribution, Software Management: I was responsible for developing a standard workstation image that was used on 20,000+ workstations of many types. I was responsible for bringing the district into software license compliance and ensuring they remained incompliance. I developed the software reporting tools that allowed us to ensure that the school district was only using those pieces of software that it owned, and that it was not using more copies than it had licensed. I produced and presented monthly reports to upper management demonstrating that they were now in compliance with Federal law.Training: I was responsible for training field staff how to properly build servers and migrate data during server migrations. Documentation: I was responsible for the creation of all technical and support documentation. I wrote and maintained over 1,000 pages of technical and support documentation that was used on a daily basis to support the network Infrastructure. I wrote all server creation and migration documents, as well as all network design documents.

Consulting: I provided all levels of consulting services to a wide variety of customers. I provided design and installation support, network troubleshooting, and client support services. I interacted with all levels of management to provide them with the necessary information to make critical business decisions. After a short time as a consultant here, I was given the opportunity to work in a large school district for a largemigration project. As a result, I had to move to another company for this.

Consulting: I provided high-level consulting services for various Lines of Business. I developed, tested, and documented all network standards that were implemented company wide.Testing: I was responsible for performance testing all new server hardware models from our vendor against our standard builds to ensure they would function properly before we would purchase the new models. I worked with vendors to initiate changes in the hardware platforms for our use. I was responsible for evaluating and testing new backup solutions that were deployed company-wide. It was my responsibility toensure that all backup and restore systems would function and allow for full restoration of all data within 8 hours to limit any potential financial losses to the firm.Documentation: I developed, wrote and maintained all technical documentation that was used by technicians company-wide. This included all server build documentation, and all documentation on the settings used throughout the network in the directory service. This documentation was used to ensure that all servers were built to proper specifications, and allowed for rapid troubleshooting of issues and restoration of server functions in case of issues.Server Builds: I was responsible for the development of an automated server build method. This process allowed for a controlled installation of file servers during the Y2K refresh and limited the number of variations in server builds. This, in turn, led to an over 80% reduction in server outages after this method was employed. In addition, this build process allowed for a much more rapid troubleshooting process thatreduced outage time by over 50%.
