With 6 Years Ford car and light commercial experience and 6 years Mercedes-Benz cars, Mercedes-Benz Systems Technician, MOT Authorised Examiner, Refrigerant handling trained and with experience as a former RAC breakdown engineer, I believe myself to be experienced in various working environments with constantly changing climates and diverse strategies to complete tasks at hand. I am currently developing skills in Leadership, Effective Communication and areas regarding Management through the Open University with intentions to implement them into building my career from the workshop floor to a managerial role. I am known to work outside of what is expected of me, whether it be extra hours before and after my scheduled working hours, extra days or even helping with tasks that are not part of my role. I enjoy communicating with customers, extracting necessary information that may help towards the diagnosis of their vehicle, explaining what has caused the issues in the first place and what I can do to resolve them. Recently I led a team of 4 through a Mercedes-Benz Global Competition, focusing on Mercedes-Benz EQ. Proudly coming first in the UK against all other dealerships, then reaching 4th in the Worldwide event against other teams that came first place in their countries.
