Appointed by the Governor of Colorado to the Board of Directors of the Cherry Creek Basin Water Quality Authority (CCBWQA). The CCBWQA is a Special District consisting of Elected Officials within the Cherry Creek Basin & 7 Appointees, concerned with maintaining and improving the water quality of the most popular Colorado State Park. Worked to develop new pollution reduction facilities, modeling of stream & pollution flows. Developed and installed a destratification system to signifcantly improve water quality and reduce turbidity in the lake. Served 3 - 4 year terms representing the recreational users of CC.

Provided development support of the custom interface designed to track IAS activities and integrated them into Microsoft’s Great Plains Dynamics Accounting system. IAS was one of the largest default servicing organization in the US; providing mortgage clients with valuation and asset management services for foreclosed properties. Additional activities included custom reports bridging the IAS and the Great Plains MS-SQL databases

Business Development/Product Development and Product Acquisition, reporting to the CEO & President for a diversified energy development company. Developed new markets for evaporators/concentrators for the oil & gas industry to reduce waste stream water volume (including a 600,000 gpd waste stream concentrator for a ethylene plant), skid mounted biodiesel production, wind turbine towers, heat recovery for paper machines, biomass fuel preparation and gasification, Hg scrubbers for new EPA regulations. Beaird was a $100mm steel fabricator specializing in wind towers for Vestas (Denmark). Additional manufactured products include sea water distillation (shipboard; US Navy & merchant marine to 1 mm gals/day landbased facility) and custom Oil & Gas industry pressure vessels.

Manager with a large VAR for Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics Accounting. (MSBS). Started with Frederick Wells, merged with Toback and then, RSM. Lead consultant to providing marketing, estimating, design, training and development of custom code in MS-SQL, Pervasive bTrieve & SQL2000 and Crystal Reports. Projects included coding in Great Plains Dexterity, VB, VBA, .Net, MS-VFP for custom order entry, inventory, work orders, publishing.

Directed 14 man Engineering/PM Dept for a welded steel, concrete lined water pipe manufacturer; 24" to 120" dia. Developed integrated SQL database & Auto-LISP program for AutoCAD product design and pipeline topographical layout, automated product and topographical drafting, scheduling and integrated with MIS software.

Responsible for Custom EPA Continous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) marketing, product design, costing, technical sales support, assembly and certification of monitoring and Data Acquisition systems for leading EPA Compliance Monitor Instrument manufacturer. Directed development of PC based RT Data Acquistion Systems. FY'92 Sales $27mm. Directed extractive and dilution extractive system sales from $900k to $12mm in 2 years. Special project work included developing systems for waste fuels & hazardous waste incineration facilities requiring CO/CO2/H2O/VOC monitoring. Directed development of NH3, TRS and high sulfur monitoring systems.

Directed marketing & sales of branch office of a national A&E firm ($24M in fees). Reported to the Vice Chairman, Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities included new business development with industrial clients. Tech Dept responsibilities included proposal and project development in the areas of alternative energy, cogeneration and waste fuel combustion. Work included contract negotiations, specifications, scheduling and technical reviews.

Project Engineer. Specialized in marketing & engineering of waste fuel prepartion & combustion systems. Projects concentrated in the lumber & paper industries using waste heat & waste fuel fired systems. Project construction costs to $30MM. Contract supervisor, DOD w/Top Secret Clearance. Completed MIS for the Rocky Mountain Arsenal in conjunction with the Edgewood Arsenal, MD for the demilitarization of nerve gas.

Worked under FI contract with Dept of the Interier, Office of Saline Water to develop and improve the use of hydrophopic surfaces in sea water distillation. Concentrated on noble metal composite surfaces and plastic substrates in custom built sea water stills. Developed satellite/hydrophopic test installations for Wrightville Beach, NC, San Diego Clair Engel facility and Guantanamo, Cuba facilities.
