I was a founding employee for Parallax, a Digital Transformation Company based in Leeds. In 2017 I joined the Board, and became an Owner. We grew from five, to 60~ people, with additional contractors that we used when required, and achieved a turnover of £5.5m~.We worked with myriad clients from a very wide range of industries and our expertise was in helping them use digital technology to solve business problems, in a people-centric way. My role was primarily Delivery & Client Services as well as Operations. I also fulfilled a role on the Board, inputting into our Strategic Direction as a business.In addition to our Digital Transformation work, we also worked closely with multiple startups, helping them fundraise and build out their initial Product as well as the Strategy and Vision, before overseeing the handoff to internal teams. Each of the startups I worked on have gone on to raise additional finance and continue their journey with the most successful being MoveGuides (now known as Topia).I particularly enjoy building teams, and helping others grow both personally and professionally, while also helping our clients achieve their own successes.
