- Credit research, analysis and report preparation of Credit Committee level risks (those over £15m or equivalent of exposure) for both Surety & Trade Credit. The cases are typically spread over a wide variety of sectors and geographies but with a particular focus on European based Construction. - Providing detailed explanation of all cases that come to Credit Committee (CC), circa 400 plus submissions a year submitted by teams in 8 different offices across Europe. This involves reviewing all cases because they come to CC and asking for clarification of any points raised during the meeting.- Organising and facilitating all aspects of CC meetings, including taking very detailed minutes used to inform the decision making for future reviews. Maintaining a register of all CC approved facility amounts and review dates. - Presenting cases and obtaining authorisation from the relevant treaty re-insurance broker for entities that are planned to exceed a certain facility threshold and answering any queries from re-insurers. - Point of contact for all queries regarding the methodology and technical detail of Moody’s Credit Edge and EDFx, ongoing implementation of these models into the Surety system. Super user of both systems as well as S&P Capital IQ Pro and Ratings Direct. - Producing monthly risk reports as required to identify trends in the Surety book and prioritise monitoring.
