I am currently employed as Director of Design for the CSR Racing franchise at NaturalMotion's London office. I am a founding member of the London team that built CSR Racing 2, and I am incredibly proud of the talented studio we have grown into.I am a huge believer in team culture and the practices that define creative thinking environment and am relishing the challenge of both pushing the production values and experiences of mobile games, whilst also helping to drive a vibrant and fulfilling live-ops schedule for our players.

Leading the Game Design of CSR2 for iOS and Android as part of a team that inherited Boss Alien's original blockbuster and evolving it into a sequel that was faithful to the original game whilst building on a number of areas of opportunity.These design features include: deepening the car upgrading metagame, adding crews, converting the multiplayer to use a synchronous real-time system, adding Gacha, degrees of car rarity, car tuning and the Crew Championships - a fortnightly season-based competition.

I am a freelance writer specialising in creating original written content for games, as well as copywriting services in other commercial and creative areas.

My role at Supermono covers a number of disciplines such as concept work, front end design, the detailed game mechanics and features, monetisation, game balancing, creative writing, playtesting etc. Anything that can help the team make the game as great as it can be.Before joining Supermono Studios officially I collaborated with Tak Fung and Rex Crowle on #1 Productivity App EpicWin. I was invited to co-create and write the descriptions of the tongue-in-cheek RPG inspired loot the user would discover as they used the App.My most recently published title was Rescue Rush (iOS) in January 2013.

I began at Beautiful Game Studios as a designer on the Championship Manager series. In this role I was responsible for the game design of the match engine, team selection and tactics and player search and scouting systems.These core components of the game experience ensured I was required to consider front end and user experience, AI systems, and gameplay balancing and mechanics.After Square Enix bought out Eidos, my role changed to be in charge of working with third party studios in the development of iOS titles. I regularly met with and collaborated with external studios, did lots of conceptual work, evaluated builds and pitched new ideas.This work was primarily done on the iOS platform, as well as for browser and Facebook games.

I started at Lionhead as a Design Documenter, maintaining the global design document for BAFTA award winning title The Movies. I also was in charge of taking minutes in the design meetings for the game.I then graduated to a Junior Designer role, responsible for the unlocking and balancing of new game content, the design for an audio loudspeaker system that relayed advice and information to the user as well as directing the creative writing brief for our freelance writer.
