Finding ways to engage teams and helping them feel connected towards a goal has always been my passion. I take pride in getting to know the members of my team, along with creating a psychologically safe work environment where team members feel accepted and respected. Over the last nine years I have been in a formal leadership and team development role at the Tulsa Zoo. I believe that the strongest organizations have a strong culture in which employees feel connected and engaged to their teams and their work. Creating work environments that support vulnerability and inclusion allow teams to engage in healthy discussions that create great ideas. My leadership skills have allowed me to also work as the director of the ninja warrior program, at AirBenders. Being a coach and a mentor has allowed me to see how much of an impact I have on my students and employees.Over the last year I realized working and building teams was very rewarding. I decided to enroll in a Human Resourcing certificate program. My hopes were to build on the skills I have acquired during my time in a leadership role. On February 14th, 2022, I accepted the Program Manager position at Madison Strategies and look forward to creating an environment that allows the teams to feel connected and engaged in their work.
