Responsible for the safe operation and movement of natural gas through DCP Midstream owned assets such as processing plants, booster stations, and associated pipelines. Process is achieved by monitoring of computer systems for warnings and alarms for abnormal operations such as high/low pressures, unit shutdowns, and abnormal conditions. Process includes notification of field supervisors, field operators, and third party pipelines.Areas of responsibility includes South Texas/Eagle Ford Shale, Austin Chalk, Mobile Bay/Offshore, Bay Area Pipeline/Michigan assets. Assure that schedule nomination rates are achieve, balances minimized, and plant optimization is achieved.

Upstream scheduling representative for DCP natural gas processing plant assets in West Texas (Permian) and South East New Mexico. Provide daily/monthly plant information to Marketing. Act as backup for downstream scheduling of same assets. Manage available for sale residue gas for 11 Natural gas processing plants, volumes of 500,000/day.Scheduling/backup for purchases and sales on Transwestern, Northern Natural Gas, OWT, and El Paso pipelines. Reconcile and manage pipeline imbalances, end of the month system reports, and variance reconciliations.

Act as Downstream intermediary for Accounting and Product Scheduling to input and ensure all product transfers are balanced.First line Accountant for wholesale propane terminal in Providence RI. Input and balanced transactions for 8 pipeline and processing facilities. Ticket a yearly average of 8,500 individual truck loads, accounting for 80 million gallons of propane. Provide management with monthly margin analysis and estimate of current business.

Manage the financial trading settlement desk for Downstream Natural Gas Liquids. Generate the monthly estimate for all of downstream liquids trading activity. Maintain system inputs for financial trade integrity, identify problems, and initiate corrections.Settle an average of 250 trades per month with a gross value of $20 million. Produce corporate reconciliations for 14 general ledger accounts and provide account analysis. Provide variance analysis of actual versus estimated current month trading activity.

Provide trade floor support to Natural Gas Trading-Texas Region. Monitor/correct transactions for the purchase, sale, and movement of gas for assigned pipelines. Responsible for the analysis and system integrity of profit for trade entry and scheduling functions.Review 30-40 daily physical trades with a profit and loss value of $30,000 per day to ensure the integrity of system valuation for financial results. Compile invoicing information for 5 asset managed end users totaling $15 million in revenue. Value point imbalance for 25-30 locations per month. Confirm end of the month financial results for region’s profit and loss of $3 million.

Generated the daily Income Statement for natural gas trading. Analyzed and presented weekly Mark to Market results for gas profit and loss meetings. Developed and maintained spreadsheets for calculations, Mark to Market, and cash results.
