Consultant• Significant Client Engagements:o White House Historical Association (August 2017 to present) Resolved significant inventory and other financial reporting issues. I was able to identify inventory integration and process issues to accurately reconcile an inventory account that had not be reconciled for several years.  Transitioned company to new accounting system (Intacct). Implemented Avalara as a sales tax solution due to Wayfair case. • Financial Systems Enhancements o Envisioned and am leading the company wide efforts for an improved financial system that will significantly automate financial processes for the Universal Service Fund (USF). o Implemented a highly successful automated Travel and Expense System. o Implemented an automated budgeting tool.o Migrated USF High Cost and Low Income disbursements from an antiquated internally development software system to Great Plains. We were able to increase annual collections by over 50% and reduce reserves by 30% in only a five month time period.
