The lab network included GSRs, 8500s, 7500s, 6500s, 4500s, 3600s etc. The products include: Dial, DSL, WIFI, VOIP, Dedicated & Backbone technologies. Managed and performed daily operations for all IP related testing and IP allocations in the INERF (Lab). This included separate Backbone, Dedicated, WIFI, DSL, VOIP and Dial topologies. Upgraded Cisco Switches, Routers and WAN links to support AT&T Internet testing. Performed daily operations on simulated POP environment to exchange routes with routing protocols for DSL, Dial, VOIP and Dedicated routers. Produced Unix scripts for monitoring, backup and configuration. Performed testing with Spirent equipment. Trouble shoot using Sniffers and other IP based tools. ACLs and filters were implemented to secure the IP network. Firewalls were also used. Extensive experience interfacing with Layer 3 vendors concerning new products and product development. Instrumental in Cisco code development for named access control lists, attribute passing for individual dial users, Network Access server wide area access interface development, and many other problems. Some of the equipment includes, AS5200, AS5300, AS5350, AS5800 and AS5850. Instrumental in Lucent code development on TNTs, APX1000, Max6000 for many different problems. Successfully developed and implemented: HURL for Dial users; OSPF migration for Dial servers in the field; configuration for Cisco 2950s & 3750s to host DSL PLD monitoring with Monitor ports and splitters; OSPF migration for DSL concentrators in INERF; deployment of the Hosted Voice over IP architecture in the INERF; UNIX scripts utilizing SNMP, RSH & RCP.
