Work with industry, K12, community groups, and college staff to foster current and build new or improved relationships and processes that mitigate barriers and support/improve student intake, retention, success, and closing the achievement gap. Responsible for the coordination of high school dual credit efforts primarily for workforce programs and serve as the dual credit contact for schools in the BBCC service district. Work to build meaningful pathways toward certification, 2-year and 4-year degrees, and employment prospects for the related communities.Support current and generate new educational processes and opportunities that include support for prior learning assessment, industry upskill/backfill scenarios, educational and employment goals for all students, dual-credit programs including the related professional development activities for secondary and postsecondary personnel, and work-based learning.

Responsible for working with faculty and Big Bend Computer Science Department to develop transfer degree and certificate options in Computer Science. Collaboration with Big Bend faculty, industry representatives, and faculty from regional universities to develop curricula that meets employer needs and aligns with upper-division computer science courses at Washington universities.Exciting new program collaborating with regional data centers and other businesses to provide technical, soft-skill, professional preparation, and work-based learning opportunities for Systems Administration students.
