I've worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years and while it wasn't always enjoyable (looking at you, retail pharmacy), it's rewarding knowing I've helped make a positive difference in people's lives, however small.That said, I want to make a bigger difference. Whether that's analyzing disease trends and figuring out how to step them or teaching people the importance of healthy foods and exercise while avoiding the McDonald's on every corner, I want to help people be their best selves. I am currently looking for a public health internship to sharpen my skills in the fields of epidemiology and health promotion.In my spare time, I enjoy exercising and healthy eating (Hey, if I'm gonna preach it, I have to live it, right?), spending time with friends and family, and catching up on shows. I'm probably too obsessed with the Marvel movies (Team Cap all the way) and my dog is the best dog in the world.I bring a laid back, down-to-earth-attitude to any work environment that I am in, but know when to be serious and get things done. If you don't believe me, hire me and I'll prove it. Oh, and everything my fiance bakes is delicious and I'm totally willing to share with co-workers. Just saying.
