Developing global five-year plans for both the oil and gas and alternative energy portfolios, identifying the best path to achieving growth and gaining support from the global board.M&A evaluation, transaction execution, business integration and post-acquisition performance analysis.Strategic analysis of various energy sectors, analysing value chains, and monitoring major trends to identify potential gaps and opportunities.Engaging and developing new partnerships with key stakeholders in the renewable and traditional energy industriesDeveloping a renewable energy global group, building and maintaining relationships with relevant internal personnel across Reed Elsevier globally; identifying synergies with existing assets in addition to increasing cross-border collaboration and best practice sharing

Identifying potential acquisitions with strategic fit, creating financial models, acquisition papers and highlighting commercial due diligence issues. Market Analysis: Macroeconomic updates for the board and the potential impacts on the business. Analysing sectors and geographies to recommend potential new markets and entrance strategies for senior management. Competitor Analysis: Compiling regular reports on major competitors, analysing their portfolios, financials, strategy and the possible implications they may have on Reed Exhibitions. Pricing Project: working with the Reed Elsevier pricing team, analysing internal data, reviewing previous pricing models and tactics and exploring alternative pricing models

Processed data and applied in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge. Responsibility taken for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness, whilst working effectively within a team.Research and analysis of queries at production group level to promote continuous improvement.
