Was responsible for providing technical and engineering support to the Aircraft Maintenance Department. Support duties included: providing technical disposition of discrepancies on DC-10 and MD-11 aircraft, troubleshooting system problems, providing technical support on post maintenance test flights, and development of repairs and modifications to aircraft systems and components. Designed, tested and Certified two Air Conditioning modifications which resulted in two STCs for cargo aircraft.

I worked in three departments during my years at MDC. I was responsible for resolving airline in-service technical problems on Commercial Aircraft through on-site visits, telephone conversations, or written communication. I was the primary airline contact for flight control, hydraulic, and landing gear systems on DC-8, DC-9, MD80, DC-10 & MD-11 aircraft. Also supported Flight Test engineering during certification flight testing of the MD-11. In-plant activities included daily contact with technical experts, suppliers and DAC Engineers. I was responsible for solving technical problems on flight ready MD-11 aircraft, included system troubleshooting, rigging and structural discrepancies. Also provided technical assistance during production test flights.I developed and maintained the Master Minimum Equipment List for the MD-11, DC-10, and DC-8 aircraft.
