For over 6 years with the Qantas Group, I worked with all the major businesses of the airline. This included key projects such as A380 Entry Into Service, Maintenix for Engineering and Aviation Medical / Security for Cabin Crew.My most recent role in the airline was chartering a set of development solutions for new to experienced leaders. In this executive-graded position, I was lead coach and 'trusted adviser' on development matters to our 400-strong global HR community and all Qantas managers with people responsibility.Areas covered included recruitment, induction and objective setting through to feedback conversations, coaching, performance management, understanding legislative & industrial relations frameworks, change management, career planning, leadership behaviours and talent. I was also regularly asked to speak at larger professional development days (eg Office of the CEO, General Counsel, Freight / Catering) and work with internal teams on a consultancy basis: from frontline managers to our most senior leaders.

The ElectroComms Foundation invited my colleague and myself to develop a custom-made management course for electrical contractors - those growing their small businesses to medium size and demonstrating potential as 'future leaders'. Over 3 years, I regularly co-facilitated a 4 day management program in the areas of finance, strategy, marketing and people.

Managed both the sales and facilitation teams in delivering leading edge communication and leadership training. The highly skilled facilitators all had a background in acting and performance. Hence they were able to bring unique, powerful delineation to their coaching of participants' personal communication, habits, nuances and influence: what was being 'telegraphed' underneath the words and beyond the gestures. It was my privilege to work with such a creative team of brilliant talent!
