A 30-year insurance veteran managing national accounts, conducting training sessions, negotiating selling agreements and using an outside-in approach to match my company’s products and services to the needs and culture of our partner. As a VP Strategic Partnerships, I am responsible for growing profitable revenue by increasing the adoption rate of Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements and other spending accounts in a manner that is consistent with and supports the objectives of our partners. Successful partnerships leverage the expertise and key attributes of each company while respecting and maintaining the culture that the distributing company has created with its customers. This is accomplished by providing a clear vision to senior management as to why accommodating the cultural and service expectation of the partner company will lead to an environment conducive to maximizing the sales potential of the alliance. My ability to be persistent, diplomatic, and persuasive has created an environment for our distribution partners to succeed. Over the years, I have successfully followed this approach while managing distribution relationships with State Farm, USAA, New York Life, Nationwide, MetLife, Ameriprise, Thrivent Financial, and Blue Cross Blue Shield companies.
