About Tom Kearney

As a former contractor who sold, designed and built custom homes and additions, I know first-hand how difficult it is to always speak intelligently about product options, benefits & features. Buyers questions were more a test against my memorization skills, rather than an opportunity to convey proper product knowledge.Sure I could research answers, but my schedule always pulled me in other directions. It’s not that I didn’t care to learn about products. I visited trade shows, read trade magazines, and ate many a hotdog at lunch & learns listening to reps. But I had a company to run. Weren’t manufacturers (the guys who built the products) more qualified to answer these questions?The Product Platform was founded to give companies better marketing, better web content, and better sales support to sign more jobs.
