I would not have lost the job I loved if I had learned earlier in my career the importance of managing my executive presence by seeing myself as others do. • Also, my career journey would not have had the up-and-down spikes of an EKG graph. I would love a job, thrive and grow, and then hit a roadblock in the form of political struggles, poor relationships, inability to handle new promotions, or trouble managing conflict. • The madness didn't stop until someone helped me see what it was like to be on the other side of me. • I learned about the blind spots (things everyone else saw but me) that were tripping me. Then I was able to adjust my communication, behavior, and mindset.
