Project Manager at Carnell Support Services Ltd.Within my current role in the Highways Industry for Carnell Support Services Ltd, I undertake the role of Project Manager on a number of schemes for Highways England as part of the Area 7 CWF Framework. Duties involve organisation and programming of works for the Carnell and sub-contractor site teams, client & stakeholder liaison, Health & Safety reviews of site, RAMS and procedures, works sign off and overall scheme coordination. The Highways Industry is a safety critical environment and as part of my continual professional development, I have completed the ‘NEBOSH General Certificate for Health and Safety’ which has allowed me to implement a number of advances in safety into our risk assessments and method statements. This, alongside the 'Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)' certificate, have been the most beneficial courses I have undertaken, as health and safety is paramount across all industries and I feel the experience gained from this course will allow me to implement ideas and solutions in any environment. I previously worked as the lead contact for the Environmental Waste Management division at Carnell and as a result have completed my ‘CIWM Introduction to Waste Management Legislation’. The role involves chemical analysis of waste materials removed from site, to assess their suitability for Landfill disposal.
