Despite the title of ‘Head of Media’ this is a wide and varied role in the fast-paced environment of football.MediaManaging the club’s official channels including -- Official website- Social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram)- Club's online TV site (on-demand and live streaming)- Matchday ProgrammeGraphic design, video editing and filming, copywriting, interviewing, photography.Press Relations- External communication- Club statements- Press conferences - organising and attending with management and players- Matchday press requests- Day to day requests- League partners and rights holders- Administering press requestsPlayer liaison and football operations- Team Schedules - Producing daily/weekly/monthly schedules with the first team manager and ensuring that players, staff, and all concerned are aware of schedules.- Player appearances - Organising and attending- Organisation of player and staff complimentary tickets for each match.- Assisting with arrangements of matchday operations for all first-team fixtures (bus, pre-match meal, arrival times, etc)Covid- Organising club testing in line with requirements of SFA protocols- Bus plans and dressing room seating guides- Overseeing training and all protocols followed- Produced graphics and documents for stadium, players, staff, and press.Branding- Ensuring club ID is used correctly in all aspects internally and externally- Consult with playing kit design, merchandise, and any commercial products to ensure in line with the club brand.Volunteers- Managing and organising a team of volunteers on matchdays.Marketing- Kit Launches- Email newsletter- Season Ticket campaigns- Fulfilling all commercial needs on the media side.- Oversee the running of 1893 Foundation which raised £125k in the first yearEvents Assist and arrange aspects of annual events including -- Hall of Fame- Sponsors Dinner- Junior Dees Christmas Party- Calendar signing- Hospital Visit
