Programming is my passion, I just wish I realized it sooner!I've spent most of my career in the customer service industry. Talking with people and hearing their stories has always been important to me but I always felt like I was missing something. After years of the empty feeling, I finally figured out what was missing. I need to be mentally stimulated and have a visual manifestation of my hard work.I took some free online courses in JavaScript and HTML on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It filled that void that I needed and I was hooked. After hours of self-study, I enrolled in Lambda School and it's been a roller-coaster ride since. Some of the skills I've picked up include JavaScript, React, Python, HTML, CSS, LESS/SASS, Express, SQL, and most importantly the ability to learn efficiently! Lambda has instilled in me a drive to learn more technologies and challenge myself.
