Development of groundbreaking population health management software, using the Microsoft .Net web application environment. Key contributions include development of new facilities for handling lab data in transmission formats including HL7 and LOINC, medical claims data in the HIPAA X12 837 formats (837I and 837P), and eligibility data in the HIPAA X12 834 format. User community includes in-house health consultants, client health coaches, and individual participants in clients' health management programs.

TRICAST (now PillarRx) is a leading pharmacy data analytics company utilizing industry expertise and powerful software tools to empower our clients to make decisions that lower their healthcare costs and efficiently manage their pharmacy benefit programs.My group and I developed these powerful software tools. These applications do deep analysis of pharmacy claims data, facilitating audits, projections, and surveillance. Tools include C#, SQL Server, ASP.Net, WCF, and the rest of the .Net environment. Team development, close interaction with my user community, and deep learning of the details of the world of pharmacy benefit management (NDCs, GPIs, PDEs, and more) rounded out my development experience at TRICAST.

(Document Sciences Corporation purchased the relevant portions of Data Retrieval Corporation in 1997. Job responsibilities were mostly unchanged, except for reporting structures. Responsibility for direct reports ended when the department moved to a matrix management model.)Developed software for DLS and xPression. Innovated and developed some of the groundbreaking internal changes to DLS that were introduced in late 2000 with DLS 6.0. These internals were retained and enhanced as part of the core of the xPression offering that succeeded DLS.- Designed and implemented core C/C++ facilities used in DLS and xPression- Enhanced/maintained a browser-based editor applet in Java- Transformed proprietary internal structures to HTML/CSS- Developed conversion from Word/HTML into CompuSet- Developed and maintained Windows client code in Visual Basic- Worked cooperatively with testers, tech writers, and support staffNote: EMC purchased Document Sciences in March of 2008.

Interfaced with customers from a problem solving technical support side and from the up-front requirements and analysis side.
