About Tom Lawrence

Passions for the practicalities of devolution to communities and individuals and for understanding how the universe works at the most fundamental level. I have worked professionally in local government for most of the last 17 years, specialising in local government finance since 2008. I provide various services to help local authorities and others understand the subject and thrive in this fast-changing world. These services include research and analysis, briefing and training. I have been carrying out research in fundamental physics since I graduated. I also have experience in school funding policy and the tourist industry and am an accomplished percussionist with around 20 years experience of gigs, jams and open mic sessions.Twitter: @TomRLawrence
