I am currently satisfied, content and joyful, in retirement. This profile is just FYI for what was a great career. Since 2009, I have been on the Advisory Board for the Management Department, in the College of Business, at Kansas State University. Working with alma mater faculty and students enables an opportunity to stay engaged, enthused and give back to the community... time, talents and treasures. Strengths are in leading and managing... systems and process improvement, continuous improvement, inventory planning and logistics operations, finance - budgeting, cost to serve, business intelligence, data mining, decision support, quality and safety systems. A demonstrated and proven change agent, focused on integration of Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM) throughout the organization. I have an inquisitive, analytical and a process oriented mind for assessing role and contribution of LSCM in the organization. Capable of communicating up, down and across the organization. My approach is for a LSCM culture and operations that understands and works for continuous improvement for maximizing integration and supporting goals for the total enterprise. Data drives trade off analysis and decision making... is basis for the organization to evaluate desire and need for change. A career in LSCM has enabled me to work cross functionally with Executives, Business Planning, Marketing, Sales, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance and Information Technology.I am always open to consider opportunities for part time or limited engagement consulting as a SME (subject matter expert). I can immediately begin to work with the business to make assessment for change, and ultimately facilitate transition for you to hire and implement a "permanent " new position or organization structure.
