Developed and executed test plans for traceability, verification, and validation.• Developed portable battery powered travel oxygen concentrator. Introduced smaller, quieter, more efficient products. Created a quieter European model. Automated energy saving features.. • Developed accelerated testing of oil-less aire compressors. Initiated numerous materials and processes changes to reduce cost. • Led 15-person multi-disciplined group of project managers, engineers (mechanical, electrical, software), designers, and technicians responsible for all respiratory product development. • Directed development and launch of 5-stage 2000-psi oxygen compressor to re-fill patient cylinders.• Supervised development of a new oxygen concentrator. Patents awarded for CPAP nasal mask.

• Launched Invacare's first sleep therapy products. Improved CPAP while increasing margin. Developed and launched CPAP humidifier. Led development of nasal CPAP mask.• Failure Analysis linked oxygen sensor failures with supplier process variations – resulting in improved process and cost concessions. Developed architecture and electronics for new oxygen conserving device.

Develops and markets Functional Electrical Stimulation products that restore function in persons with paralysis.• Led compliance effort in support of market approval for class 3 medical devices. The Freehand system restores hand grasp in quadraplegic patients. The Vocare system restores bladder control.• Designed and tested RF output stage and transmitting coil components.
