I write about the arts and history, develop exhibits, facilitate workshops, blog about family dynamics, and support conflict management efforts. Collaborating with paid and volunteer workers in interdisciplinary organizations, museums and historic houses, communities, schools, universities, and festivals keeps me absorbed and working at my creative edge. I have a particular passion for STEAM — strengthening the connection between the arts and science, technology, engineering and math. The arts inspire the way I work, whether I'm up early in my office, working with a team online, or onsite in a studio or conference room. Planning and improvisation go hand in hand in the most successful endeavors.And I am a poet and creative nonfiction writer; a re-teller. These fundamental skills and talents shape my goal and vision to "make it plain" — to share knowledge, views, and information in a way that opens doors for everyone.
