25 years at SOLO Laboratories, I have been making a difference in people's lives by helping to craft custom orthotics. Working with doctors, physical therapists, orthotists, chiropractors, we ensure that their patients receive the best in custom orthotics in the industry.Our name says it all. SOLO stands for, "Serve Others, Love Others." We make orthotics that make people's feet feel wonderful. After all, your feet are the foundation of your body, like the foundation of a house. If your feet feel good, then the rest of your body feels good, too.After high school, I studied to be a commercial artist. My fine arts professor told me that I had a good eye for detail. It explains why I've always enjoyed things like getting all of the little cut-outs perfect. My eye for detail and creative style, helps me to find ways to solve problems that other labs can't handle.I'm continuously inspired by the stories we hear from doctors about how we've helped. For instance, there was a little boy in Indiana who lost half of his foot in a farming accident. A colleague and I worked very hard in the lab to create a solution, and the doctor told us the boy's mother was in tears because her son could finally walk again, wearing an actual shoe. As the Manager of Customer Experience, I enjoy helping the doctors we serve to solve problems for their patients. Even when I'm on vacation, I love looking to see if there's a podiatrist nearby so that I can stop in and say hello! We treat them like family and they appreciate that we stop by.We always put the customer first, because they're coming to us for help with a problem. I listen very carefully, because that's very important. I'm always up for a challenge and welcome the opportunity to work with podiatrists and other prescribers to make their patient's walk through life a bit easier.
