My 8 year career with the state began as a Tax Technician for the Franchise Tax Board. From there I moved into my role as a Personnel Specialist with the Department of Transportation. This is where I found my passion for Human Resource related work. I continued on the Human Resources path going to the State Controller's Office and promoting to a Staff Services Analyst. In my current role as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst, I support the People and Culture Operations Office at the Board of Governors, California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office. As a member of the Human Resources team, I am the disability and return to work coordinator. I have also lead recruitment efforts, was our conflict of interest filing officer, and helped with workforce planning/succession planning.
