In an exciting partnership with the NHS, I drive multiple parallel project assignments to help plan and deliver on our partnership with the NHS England Cancer Programme team. The role also requires deep engagement and alignment with our NHS England Cancer Programme partners to support the roll-out of a national Multi-Cancer Blood Test Programme.In partnership with internal GRAIL and external NHS England partners, I have led the development of the phlebotomy model, including clinical workflows. This includes developing related programme training, instructional videos, e-learning and digital user guides. Proactively, I take the lead in engaging with regional Cancer Alliances and local NHS Trusts, ensuring they are fully briefed on our programme planning. This proactive approach not only keeps them in the loop but also allows us to incorporate their valuable feedback, ensuring timely delivery and mitigating any potential implementation barriers.Chair the NHSE Cancer Programme team and GRAIL weekly joint ops group to deliver joint activities and identify blockers to programme delivery effectively.Key member of internal working groups to ensure readiness to scale the programme effectively. This included developing a UK-based customer service function, logistics, and accessioning the clinical lab at scale—key participant in the recruitment of customer service and logistic staff.As the lead, I am responsible for overseeing the completion of the GRAIL logistics and lab Failure Mode and Effects Analysis Process (FMEA), a critical step in our project. This role allows me to leverage my expertise and ensure the smooth progression of our operations.Work closely with the GRAIL and NHSE Logistics and Biosampling leads to progress the biosampling and logistics implementation plan—part of the procurement team. -
