• Supervise an assistant manager and 15 hourly associates that are engaged in all phases of the order building and loading process. Duties include safety, quality, customer service, housekeeping, hiring, training, performance management, plant productivity, labor utilization, warehousing, and control of products to be processed.• Responsible for $13 million in inventory, 75K line items in a 210K square foot facility. • Enforce all established policies and procedures and ensure associates are in compliance with recognized practices. • Utilize the Pick Right System to meet or exceed efficiency goals and to ensure work is completed within established timelines by directing necessary personnel to help achieve those goals. • Resolve production problems that occur and conduct shipment accuracy and product quality checks during the pick-to-ship process. • Provide documentation on issues, actions and status updates for the shift for the purpose of compliance and continuous quality improvement.• Facilitate job safety training and production meetings to ensure a safe, healthy and productive work environment are established and supported and to drive improvements. • Assist with conducting physical inventories in accordance with company guidelines. • Interface with internal and external customers, including principals, managers on day shift, associates, customers and vendors.
