As an employment litigation attorney with a concentration in human resources, my practice includes the representation of management in lawsuits alleging harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, restrictive covenant claims (non-compete and non-solicitation agreements), and ERISA violations. In addition, I have represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and in union campaigns, arbitrations, and collective bargaining. I am admitted to practice in the State of Ohio.With a focus on human resource policies and procedures, I counsel employers on preventative practices to minimize workplace disputes, and related proactive strategies to reduce discrimination, harassment and workers’ compensation claims, FMLA and ADA issues, as well as lawsuits initiated by the EEOC. I routinely provide training for business executives and human resources professionals on best practices, personnel handbooks and policies, workplace investigations, reductions in force, as well as privacy regulations, employee benefits packages, and internal performance benchmarking.
