Transitions Pathway Services Demonstration Project | Funded by Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), in the U.S. Department of Education, Grant Award: H421B16000.Assist with program evaluation of work-based learning project for students with disabilities (16-22 years) transitioning from high school to employment or post-secondary education. Substantial Gainful Activity Demonstration Project | Funded by Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, U.S. Department of Education Grant # H235L100004.Assist with product development of multimedia training materials about the benefits of returning to work for persons with disabilities. Tasks included:▪ Co-develop multimedia training vignettes for Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and clients.

MONUM, in collaboration with Emerson College Engagement Lab and SuperNormal, piloted community engagement models to gather feedback from community members, including youth, about technology that might be implemented in their neighborhood sidewalks and streets. The pilot sites were Codman Square, Chinatown, and Lower Allston. Outcomes achieved: * Authored At The Table: A Guide on Community Engagement & Technology in the Public Realm - a practical community engagement facilitation guide for the City of Boston to increase community conversations about data collection, data privacy, and digital equity. * Provided technical assistance with Beta Block project outreach events in Nubian Square (kickoff event), Codman Square, Chinatown, and Allston. * Presented Beta Blocks: Civic Participation in the Age of the Smart City, which included a project synopsis with recommendations for the City of Boston Department leadership.

Supervisory duties included: ▪ Supervised Full-Time (5) & Part-Time (3) Staff, including rotating undergraduate and graduate work study students, interns, and volunteers.▪ Managed fiscal budget of $120,000 and coordinated and coordinated organizational administration focused on process and outcome improvement. ▪ Created and developed work plans for Next Step at Vanderbilt Internship for students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.▪ Created and facilitated informational trainings in discussing service needs for individuals with disabilities and their families. Target attendees included: people with disabilities and their families/caregivers, government agencies, disability service providers, educators, and communities. Multicultural Outreach Program duties included: ▪ Developed and Co-Authored the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s Cultural & Linguistic Readiness Self- Assessment and Report. ▪ Developed and Co-Facilitated the Multicultural Alliance on Disability, a coalition of government agencies, disability service provider agencies, and immigrant & refugee agencies with the goal of increasing services to immigrant & refugee communities in Tennessee.▪ Co-Developed and Co-Facilitated activities for the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s A.I.D.E. (Ability, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity) Task Force. A program developed to increase cultural and linguistic humility and competency of VKC researchers, staff, and faculty. ▪ Developed and facilitated the Cultural Impact of Race, Language and Religion on Disability Seminars. Fulfill the Promise Campaign was a statewide initiative to educate the public on about the lack of access to services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The goal of the Fulfill the Promise Campaign was to expand Home & Community Based-Services Waivers to the Developmental Disability community. Fulfill the Promise Campaign activities included the following tasks:▪ Supervised District Coordinators and grassroots advocates.▪ Managed stipend payments and travel expense reimbursements for District Coordinators.▪ Assisted with strategizing statewide Fulfill the Promise outreach initiatives.▪ Conducted statewide presentations on Fulfill the Promise Campaign initiatives to educate state legislators, families, and disability – related agencies.▪ Assisted grassroots advocates with meetings with state legislators across the state.▪ Co-organized Fulfill the Promise events and meeting.▪ Managed Fulfill the Promise Campaign website content.
