Implement policy application solutions for major insurance carriers and distribution agencies in a SAAS environment with various custom 3rd party integrations.Under my own initiative to better understand the framework, in my first 2 weeks I created a customized testing solution in .Net, JavaScript, and Selenium WebDriver that was to be leveraged into the main automated testing tool for developers, QA, and clients. Came up with JavaScript solutions to work around various base system issues, including removing excess white space from the page, highlighting required fields properly, and determining validity of page element names.

Six-week contract covering parental leave for the Senior Web Designer.During my contract I was a touch point between marketing and IT and used my knowledge of both areas to facilitate the launch of a CMS project that had been stagnating for over a year.Provided technical advice on several on-going CMS projects, bringing my experience to a marketing group that had little prior knowledge of CMS advantages and pitfalls.

Mainly ASP/ASP.net/SQL Server/IIS environment with some PHP/MySQL/IIS development.Worked with Manufacturing to create an easy-to-use internal tool for scheduling and tracking production, shipping, and quality, for use both on desktop computers and hand-held scanners using AJAX and web services.Worked with Drafting, Engineering, and Marketing to create user-friendly web applications to guide users through easily submitting information used to create detailed parts lists for the pricing and production of metal roofs and buildings.Worked with Exchange mail server to create an ASP web application to display email in limited capacity (i.e., internal use only, limited sender list, automatically CC supervisors)

Mainly ColdFusion/SQL Server/IIS environment with some PHP/MySQL/IIS development.Worked as a part of the Marketing team to create a network of websites using the segments of the same product catalog but targeting differing vertical markets for increased search engine presence.Implemented various methods of search engine optimization to increase search traffic.Worked with Product Management team to redesign product database and product management web application, allowing products of vastly differing types to easily be stored in the same tables and allowing for great flexibility in storing data. Worked closely with Marketing, Sales, and company owners to re-launch entire website with a new design and backend, suggesting options to increase user-friendliness and optimize search engine presence.Worked with Marketing and Product Management to create a number of tools and advisors for the website, allowing end-users to easily find the products they were looking for by answering a few simple questions.
