This position is in support of DoD client’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program. The position provides technical support and apply expertise in assessing information system compliance with DoD and Air Force (AF) RMF standards. Develop, review, verify, and validate required DoD RMF documentation and artifacts in accordance with DoD Instruction 8510.01, RMF for DoD IT, and the AF RMF Process Guide. Analyze and process the artifacts required to obtain and maintain the Authority to Operate (ATO) for information systems and applications. Perform quality assurance reviews for required content in all packages in the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. Support the client in conducting RMF checkpoint and collaboration activities. Perform RMF, CMMC, and FISMA data collection, analysis, reporting, and metrics generation.Additional Accomplishments:Worked side by side with Development team to designed application, streamlining the process to acquire AF RMF ATOUtilized Test and Feedback in Azure for QA purposes

In support of Naval Warfare Development Command (NWDC), creates, maintains, and validates information security Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages for applications, systems, and networks in accordance with appropriate DoD policies and processes in the field of C&A in Risk Management Framework (RMF) disciplines. Uses Navy RMF-related tools, including DADMS/DITPR-DON and eMASS to process and update C&A packages. Supports all C&A efforts and tests, mitigates, and documents security plans and site assessment and security testing. Matches testing to risk analysis and remediation (RAR) POA&M and determines a mitigation strategy. Recommends Cybersecurity requirements to be included in the design, installation, operation, upgrade, or replacement of information systems. Works in a fast-paced environment and successfully manages short deadlines. Vulnerability assessment of the NCTE network on a daily basis, with POA&Ms. Policy and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) preparation. PPSE (Ports, Protocols, Services Engineer) Prepare all of the component local services assessment forms for registering all PPS for NCTE.Certification and Accreditation - RMF process including DISA STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) evaluation, ACAS scanning, Contributing Factors, Computer Network Defense (CND) Directives, and package preparation.Specific Accomplishments:Authored the Navy’s first classified RMF accreditation for two distinct enclaves containing over 1k network devices. Implemented Cross Domain Solutions and >500 unique security controls w/medium CIA risk.Directed development for 4 RMF A&A packages. Managed the creation of eMASS documents to include; SAP, RAR, SOP, POA&M, diagrams, ports & protocols, NESSUS ACAS scans, STIGs & security controls. Assisted with an additional 18 packages.
