As an educational leader, I am committed to excellence regarding student learning, continual improvement, leadership, professional development, organization, collaboration and community. This is my twenty-sixth year serving in education and I love my job! My experiences as an administrator, teacher, mentor and leader in seven different schools as well as two school districts serve to enhance my educational leadership skills. Completing my Masters of Education, administrative license and math endorsement demonstrate additional leadership preparedness along with a vision to continually improve and learn. Since 2004 I have acted as volunteer president of a Utah charity providing me the opportunity to further develop numerous leadership skills including budgeting, shared leadership, partnerships, grant acquisitions, improvement projects, collaboration and public relations. Additionally, I enjoy serving my community and volunteer often recognizing the value of positive communication while working together.
