• Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feedwater heaters, filters, and coolers, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power.
• Make adjustments or minor repairs, such as tightening leaking gland and valve packing, identify problems and report any needs for major repairs with Condition Reports and Work Requests.
• Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
• Open and close valves and switches in coordination with other workers, in order to start or shut down auxiliary units, as part of switching orders, or for safety tagging of systems.
• Place standby emergency equipment in service for testing or emergency condition and monitor the temperature, output, and lubrication of the system.
• Safely and effectively maintain equipment and conduct plant operations while adhering to strict procedural usage and guidance, and utilizing multiple human performance tools.

• Collaborate with FIN team members to complete Work Orders, Work Requests, and tasks in a timely manner as directed
• Contribute to planning and performing numerous trouble-shooting efforts
• Consistently seek out ways to improve processes, procedures, and equipment repair efforts
• Depending on work scope, work directly with Maintenance, I & C Technicians, and/or Electricians.
• Acted as single point of contact and ops liaison where work group activities could have potential impact or effect on plant operations
