As Operations Supervisor, I worked to identify process efficiency opportunities and partnered with other members of the Healthcare Services (HCS) team to map process, implement changes and monitor progress. In this role I managed, coached and developed six direct reports. In addition, I led resolutions to escalated account holder issues and documented and centralized HCS operations policies and procedures.

As Regional Operations Manager, I was tasked with overseeing 25 branches within the Kansas City, Greater Missouri and Nebraska regions. In this role I conducted periodic branch visits at all locations to check for understanding on policies and procedures, regulations and various other operational tasks, and I also coached and developed branch managers and associates to enhance their operational knowledge and soundness. In addition, I created and followed up on any action plans put into place to correct operational issues while holding managers and associates accountable to those plans, and identified process efficiency opportunities and work with all stakeholders involved to implement, monitor, maintain and expand new processes. Part of my time was also spent resolving escalated and complex operational issues that may arise at branches, and performing various other centralized operations tasks, such as; cash reporting, overdraft reporting, and general ledger reconciliation.

As a Consumer Operations Support Manager, I conducted branch audits throughout the entire UMB footprint, assisted on branch visits with Regional Operations Managers, reconciled GL accounts, prepared documentation for branch audits, performed various reporting for entire UMB footprint, including but not limited to; teller differences, cash levels, loss reports, operations dashboards and assisted with BCX implementation.

In my role as Operations Manager, I worked to help maintain operational compliance of branches in all aspects with regards to UMB and federal regulations, coached, motivated and conducted monthly evaluations for all branch associates, served as a mentor to incoming managers and networked with other departments to resolve customer issues including, adjustments, fraud, account services, cash services, financial intelligence unit, BSA, compliance and various others.
