Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry at Virginia State University. As a dedicated pre-medical student, I am deeply involved in nuclear chemistry research, specifically studying isotopes. My journey in academia and research has been enriched by valuable experiences such as my internship at the UAB Summer Health Professional Education Program and previous environmental chemistry research.My academic pursuits are driven by a passion for healthcare and a strong belief in the quote, "Life is for the living and to give of one's self." I am committed to using my knowledge of chemistry with compassionate patient care as I work towards becoming a physician. I believe that serving my community and giving back are essential to becoming a leader who can positively impact society.In my free time, I find joy in staying active through workouts and connecting with nature. I am actively involved in extracurricular activities including the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Chemistry Club, VSU Go Green Club, and M.A.P.S. and P.R.I.M.E Pre-Medical Society.My ultimate goal is to use my background in chemistry and my aspiration to practice medicine to make a meaningful difference in my community.
