Design and validation of customized genome editing reagents and transgene vectors.Advising core users in genotyping of founder animals by providing them genotyping strategies and trouble-shooting unexpected outcomes.Planning experimental work with core staff personnel, which requires communication daily to ensure smooth core operation. Weekly presentation of core data in the team meetings.Introducing advances in genome editing and transgenic technology based on new research findings/literature survey. Implementing changes as needed in operational protocols through consultation with technical staff.Managing core users, expenses, and revenues using institutional core management software, as well as preparation of annual core report.Tracking project status and recording of success rates.Preparation of core scientific presentations at local and national meetingsSupporting core users with letters of support to granting agencies and preparations of manuscripts.
