● Developed Community Moments feature that allowed creators on Twitch to reward their viewers for being in chat during important moments. A beloved feature used by top creators with 90k+ CCV on the platform and handled large traffic spikes using AWS ECS and Lambdas.● Chat Badges subject matter expert for the company. Rebuilt service infrastructure using CDK and performed a 50K TPS live traffic migration to the new service with no downtime.● Mentored our team’s intern and provided support while launching the game developer badge, now used by companies such as Blizzard and CD Projekt RED.● Collaborated with marketing and product to create badge campaigns for events such as the Twitch Recap, Game Awards, and Street Fighter 6’s launch. Entitled badges to over a quarter million users for multiple badge events.● Standardized code and infrastructure for the team through audits in order to improve security across all owned services. Played a key role in cleaning up codebases and conducting thorough audits of existing code to enhance overall security measures.● Developed and implemented "Chat Highlights", a feature integrated into the chat interfaces of all moderators and broadcasters across all channels on Twitch that enables them to highlight certain messages, improving community engagement.● Implemented and maintained unit tests using Enzyme, React Testing Library and Go, ensuring that all code changes were thoroughly tested before deployment to production.● Participated in an on-call rotation during events with over 6 million viewers, providing support for production systems outside of regular business hours. Worked with a multiple teams to design and create a resource directory for developers. The process involved designing a review process to manage the intake of new responses, working with a product designer to create the page, as well as developing the page itself. During the development of the directory, I reached out and communicated with developers to include their content on the directory at launch.Spoke at Twilio SIGNAL at SIGNAL TV, Twilio's developer conference with a live streamed show hosted on Twitch to an audience of around 3,000 people.Participated in the organization of the 2019 TwitchCon Hackathon.
