I am an award-winning, data driven, tech-savvy, B2B marketing executive with expertise in Cloud, AI, and Cybersecurity product marketing. I have additional expertise in Developer and Mid-Market audiences in the Information Technology and Services industry. I have over 15 years experience in leadership and management roles.The beginning of my career can be summed up in two words: data driven. My ability to analyze data to determine performance trends, identifying unique factors driving revenue growth, led me to the role of business and marketing analysis leader and manager of a marketing performance analyst team of 12 resources.I leveraged this data driven mind set in my next two roles, focusing on mid-market and hybrid cloud solutions. As the Marketing Director for the Mid-Market audience, I directed a team of 30 plus resources leveraging Ecosystem marketing to drive both transactional and recurring revenue. With the increased focus of the mid-market segment on cloud solutions, I drove a shift in emphasis to Managed Service Providers (MSPs), ultimately leading to the transformation to a hybrid cloud solution based marketing program.We were doing a great job driving cloud adoption, but our usage rates were not as strong. To fix this, I became an expert on developer marketing, leveraging customized strategies to drive better developer adoption of AI applications and cloud platforms. We leveraged "cause marketing" via the Call for Code Challenge to drive better adoption of IBM public cloud and AI offerings. I established the Build Smart on Kubernetes World Tour, leveraging digital and face to face events, to provide developers with the skills needed to deploy Kubernetes and leverage Operators through Red Hat OpenShift.A big inhibitor to cloud adoption was executive concerns over cybersecurity risks. To better mitigate these risks, I took on my next role as the Cybersecurity Marketing Leader. I excelled in this role, transforming the cybersecurity team, bringing resources over from developer and onboarding two additional event strategists to run key events like RSAC, Black Hat, and Gartner Security and Risk against a budget of $11M. Leveraging data to determine the top performing events, allocating workload based on scoring, defining messaging at the end user level to drive adoption, we drove $2B in validated pipeline in 2023.That is how I became the transformational marketing leader I am today, with expertise in team building, messaging, and demand generation. I'm looking forward to the next phase in my career journey.
