Section responsible for ensuring integrity of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and other public health programs administered by the WA DOH Office of Nutrition Services. My team manages over 600+ retailer contracts and is responsible for regulatory oversight of an additional 200+ WIC clinics across the State of Washington. Team performs covert and overt fraud investigations, audits and onsite monitoring visits geared towards eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse in critical supplemental nutrition programs.

• Responsible for program integrity throughout entire Department of Social and Health Services.• Manage and lead specialized criminal fraud unit including detection, data analytics and prioritization of criminal investigations.• Development and implementation of statewide policy and protocols for the early detection and prevention of fraud.

• Management of thirteen investigative staff and overall oversight of all criminal and civil investigations conducted within the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU).• Development and implementation of investigative policy and procedures.• Mentoring and training of investigative staff.• Investigate allegations of Medicaid program violations through comprehensive investigative and auditing techniques.
