• Designing, implementing and coordinating multifaceted communications activities, to support DPIEpolicy and operational priorities and to communicate key messages relating to initiatives andservice delivery.• Delivering communications projects including developing logistics, budgets, resource and projectplans, and reporting to enable the efficient and effective communication of developments andinformation to the community.• Providing input to the development of communications plans to effectively integratecommunications/marketing strategies into the full communication strategy.• Undertaking analysis and review of communications tactics and strategies to determineoutcomes of specific initiatives and inform future planning and activity.• Creating, monitoring and updating information for the Department's multiple external websites to keep the community and other stakeholders up to date with developments and provide comprehensiveinformation on the Department’s operations and services.• Providing advice and technical support across Ministerial and Communications Services on thecommunications aspects of DPIE campaigns and programs.• Researching trends and issues to identify target audiences and identify strategies to underpin bestpractice strategies for communications development.• Leading the team on events and intranet related initiatives.• Editing videos and photos using Adobe applications like Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Lightroom.• Taking photos at events and property handovers.

• Developing and implementing strategic digital and social media communications strategies with the aim of influencing positive social change and successful project outcomes focused on building social cohesion and community resilience and countering online hate. • Producing, writing, editing and commissioning high quality material for publication on digital and social platforms to the highest professional and ethical standard.Project management of digital media projects including online publications and campaigns that comply with Government and industry standards.• Managing relationships with contractors, consultants, and digital industry partners to ensure project deliverables are met. • Facilitating culturally competent dialogue and engagement with online communities, identifying and aligning resources to build community digital capacity and resilience, and establishing and maintaining robust, responsive, sustainable, cooperative online networks across NSW regions in support of community resilience-building objectives. • Planning and coordinating project–sponsored community engagement activities and events including training workshops, projects launches and media events. • Providing detailed, timely and up-to-date reports digital and social media analytics and other available data, and contributing to the evaluation of digital and social strategies.• Undertaking research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning in relation to digital and social strategies.

Spearheading the Communications Department of one of the most well known Multicultural Community organisations in NSW. SMCS started some 40 years ago. Since then, we have been delivering essential services to the most vulnerable members in our community. Despite the unprecedented challenges that Covid-19 has presented, we are still delivering vital services without disruption. I am proud to say that we have navigated uncertainty and found innovative ways to communicate to people from different age and language groups. We continue to raise the standard in Multicultural Communication.
