Led the development of recommendations, and then forwarded the recommendations to the college’s leadership/decision makers for approval.Accepted the responsibility to teach American Studies classes, which double the America Studies offerings, due to my coursework in American Studies as a graduate student. Course focused on how early American diversity, and constitutional freedoms, impact today’s world. Students were required to select an event from a specific time period and present how that event impacted modern-day America.Designed, developed, and implemented a pop-culture literature course that met the literature course objectives set by the college. Students were required to read six to eight pop-culture novels and write essays regarding how the novels expressed popular themes such as love, acceptance, conformity, and loss. Designed, developed, and implemented Freshman and Sophomore Composition courses in face-to-face, online, and simultaneous video formats to meet college requirements to provide courses that facilitated student access to college courses. Course focused on descriptive, persuasion, analytical, and research writing.
