I am a structural designer working in the print industry. I provide original, creative concepts in packaging, display, mail, point of purchase, and more. I am comfortable working with folding cartons and corrugated board, and have an in depth knowledge of many other specialty papers. Past customers that I have worked with include national retailers, financial institutions, manufacturers, and software companies, as well as non-profits and small independent companies. I have a strong working knowledge of the production side of printing, having been a die cutting operator and finishing department lead. I enjoy working closely with Sales, Production, Estimating, Planners, and customers equally to ensure that a project meets or exceeds expectations, and to do so in an efficient manner, creating cost savings for both company and customer.I helped to develop and improve departmental procedures and forms. I worked with the IT department to implement a design database that is searchable by many variables. I organized and maintained an inventory of 400+ different paper samples from multiple mills and suppliers.

Assisted with managing the finishing department as needed, including filling in for the department manager. Trained new employees and temporary help. Operated all finishing equipment including guillotine cutters, straightline gluers, saddle stitchers, folders, and small bindery machines.
