As a Content Writer and eventually a Content Team Lead for DealerSocket, I managed the content for a number of different automotive dealerships. I handled most aspects of the dealership's content marketing on their website, meaning I researched and wrote articles - including blogs, landing pages and press releases - published those articles utilizing a combination of HTML and CSS, handled all Search Engine Optimization for those articles and most cover most graphic design needs as well. I also managed a handful of social media accounts, which included making posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google My Business as well as handling responding to reviews across those services and many others, such as CarGurus, Cars.com, DealerRater and Yelp.Through the years I also trained over a half-dozen new hires in all aspects of our position and towards the end of my tenure handled editing for the company's new team of writers in India. I also managed many special projects through the years, including designing a dozen or so templates for landing pages that were used across the entire department on hundreds of websites and many other small improvements to the way we did things.

Most of my time at ShopKo was as an Electronics Specialist until the department was merged with the rest of General Merchandise. I worked in Electronics for about 2 years at Store 002 in Ashwaubenon, WI before eventually transferring to Store 042 in Oshkosh, WI. There I started out in Electronics before taking a larger role in GM Freight and eventually moving out to General Merchandise as a whole. In Electronics (and eventually GM) I was responsible for making sure the department was tidy, set up in a way that would encourage sales and always fully stocked. But most importantly I was responsible for sales, selling big ticket items like TVs and Cameras, as well as Extended Protection Plans and other add-ons.As a member of the GM Freight team I started out moving items from the track to various pallets, then eventually stocking and backstocking those items. I moved into a sort of interim-supervisory role as the department moved between supervisors, making sure that the trucks were appropriately acknowledged, then leading the team to get the trucks unloaded as fast and efficiently as possible. I then moved to the inside of the truck unloading onto the track rather than unloading the track, which is when the store's boxes per minute score improved by around 2-3.
